Making Our Own Pan Flutes

After being inspired by our trip to the museum, Room 8 made pan flutes today out of straws. Then we wrote about how to make a pan flute in case we wanted to make another one later.  Here are some pictures of the class playing along to 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' and 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' on their pan flutes. We know that the short straws make a high sound and the long straws make a low sound.
